Paying for Celestia space

I’m studying an opportunity to use Celestia as the DA layer for a non-Ethereum blockchain. I understand that TIA is used for Celestia fees. So I assume the blockchain project would have to supply a mechanism wherein its native coin, used for its native transaction fees, would be automatically converted to TIA? Is that what’s happening with the Polygon integration?

It’s my understanding that raw TIA is used.

But this is a very interesting idea.

I don’t think that we would want to actually integrate this concept into TIA itself, so here are some ways of doing it:

• Automatically swap on osmosis
  • Possibly fee abstraction could be adapted for this use

• Include a dex in your chain or roll-up
